Laser Tattoo Removal Treatment

Tattoo Removal

Say farewell to unwanted tattoos with our advanced laser treatments. Our state-of-the-art technology effectively targets tattoo pigment, breaking it down for gradual elimination by the body, leaving behind clear, tattoo-free skin.

Tattoo Removal

is our treatment in which we use Q-Switch laser to remove unwanted tattoos safely and effectively. Laser tattoo removal works by breaking down the ink particles in the skin using targeted energy. It emits high-intensity light pulses that are absorbed by the tattoo ink, causing it to fragment into smaller particles that can be naturally removed by the body’s immune system.

FAQs

  • What Laser Hair Removal machine do you use?
We use the Alma's latest laser hair removal device, the Soprano Titanium. Featuring its exclusive 3D technology, Alma Soprano Titanium combines the three most effective laser wavelengths into a single applicator, simultaneously targeting different tissue depths and anatomical structures within the hair follicle. By combining the absorption and penetration levels of different wavelengths, Alma Soprano Titanium is the safest and most efficient professional laser hair removal machine available today. The Alma Soprano Titanium is suitable for blonde, red, and dark hair and can be used on suntanned and fake tanned skin, revolutionising the laser hair removal game.
  • How often do I need to get Laser Hair Removal?
Depending on your hair and skin type and the area being treated, you will usually require treatments at 4-6 week intervals. Each part of the body has a different hair growing cycle, so the hair loss will vary depending on what phase your follicles are in at the time of treatment. However at least 6-10 treatments are required for a permanent reduction. Booking a consultation will provide a tailored plan based on your goals & skin & hair tone.
  • Which parts of the body can we safely treat with Laser?
We can safely treat every single part of the body besides the top of the head.
  • What factors can affect the results?
The two most important factors when it comes to achieving results is the colour of the hair follicle and the colour of the skin. The laser is attracted to pigment (known as melanin), and for this reason clients with light skin and dark hair will generally get the best results. Hair colour: The thicker and darker the hair the better the results Fine pigmented hairs may become a little bit finer and lighter Skin colour: The lighter your skin the better the results Darker skin types will require additional treatments
  • How long is the Laser Hair Removal session?
The length of an individual Laser Hair Reduction treatment is determined by the density of hair growth and overall size of the area to be treated. Small areas may take as little as 5 minutes, while larger areas, such as the back or legs, may require up to 30 minutes. All services have an allocated duration in the booking menu.
  • What do I need to do to prepare for my Laser Hair Removal appointment?
Before your appointment, we ask that you; Shave the area between 12-24 hours before your treatment. If you arrive to your appointment unshaved, we cannot treat you. Avoid chemical peels or laser resurfacing Exfoliate to remove any dead skin build up Avoid excessive sun exposure on area being treated two weeks prior (including solariums or tanning drugs) Avoid using topical creams/moisturisers, perfumes to the area being treated before appointment Do not wax or pluck hairs four weeks prior to Laser treatment
  • How long should I go in between Laser Hair Removal appointments?
Depending on your hair and skin type and the area being treated, you will usually require treatments at 4-6 week intervals. Each part of the body has a different hair growing cycle, so the hair loss will vary depending on what phase your follicles are in at the time of treatment.
  • Are there any possible side effects?
We always provide after care advice and products (moisturises) that minimise any risk of side effect. That said, below are the potential side effect that can result from a Laser treatment. • Redness and slight swelling • Erythema (red and bumpy looking skin) • Sun burnt feeling • Temporary heat on the area • Pigmentation changes where the skin becomes lighter and darker (RARE) • Crusting (RARE) • Blistering (RARE)
  • Can I receive Laser Hair Removal over my tattoos?
No. The laser would pull some of the pigment out of the tattoo and the intense heat from going over the pigment would burn and blister the skin. We will carefully work around any tattoos in the area to be treated. This is good to keep in mind BEFORE getting a tattoo if an area has unwanted hair and requires laser hair removal.
